Verge of a Dream: ‘YOU KNOW’

I don’t know how
many years it would
have been. For you
to put me In my place.
You know, from a
corner around which
you just don’t see.
I don’t know how anyone
might be so complacent.
You know to take for
granted that what was
said was lost or you know
overlooked by
someone like me who
cannot hear.
I don’t know how many
re-runs it would be
to eventually find
someone
better, much more
creative than grasping.
You know, less shallow,
less noise to announce
the pleasantly perfect day.
