Standing at the starbucks counter I was getting some coffee ground (which by the way was not ground to turkish fine grind like I had asked for), I saw a kroger employee picking her nose with a white hankie.  When she came back to the starbucks counter she went to reach for something, and i quietly said, “wash your hands”,  her reply, I kid you not, was. “Why, I havn’t touched anything”….
When people dont think of their bodies as violations of the “wash your hands rule” for touching things, we are all in deep trouble, SMH

my favorite seuss with apologies, with plus indecent additions,

it’s a troublesome world
and all the people who are in it
are troubled by troubles
almost every minute
you better be grateful
a whole heaping lot
for the people and places
you’re lucky you’re not

……..
you are not in afganistan
and you’re far from iraq
you’re not in iran
wearing a black little smock

you are not in gaza,
you’re not in ukraine
Nor are you in syria
Assad, was a pain.

but you’re in the US
with trump as the rein
and just know, I am quite sure
he hasn’t a brain.
it is also quite clear
he has not a clue.
I had prayed for a leader
who would know what to do.

So we all better muster
our resources right now
to help all those we know
to live with this strain.
